Herschell Gordon Lewis’ Zombificador

June 9, 2013

Herschell Gordon Lewis, Godfather of Gore, is in pre-production of his new indie cult film Zombificador.

H.G. Lewis will be directing the film. It is co-written by Herschell Gordon Lewis himself and Marc Fernandez, producer of the movie.  Colin McCracken, from Zombiehamster.com will also be a producer of the film.

I contributed to the film, therefore making me an associate producer of the film.

The film will be starring horror icon Bill Moseley, from Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects and the cult musical Repo!, and Michael Berryman, from the original The Hills Have Eyes by Wes Craven.

Below is the synopsis from the Indiegogo campaign:

Zombificador is an old-style anthology movie, with several stories that interconnect with each other in some point. From big fat monsters with the ability of transforming people into savage creatures, to human-sized mutant bugs, along with talking puppets and silent psycho killers, that’s what Zombificador is all about.

With five different stories, Zombificador will be the goriest and grossest movie ever made by Herschell Gordon Lewis.

In a comeback to his classic gore films, we are proud to present you with the wildest movie ever made by the “Godfather of Gore”, the most important horror filmmaker and the inventor of Gore and Splatter.

I am honored to be a part of this production.
